Born in France and now a proud Canadian citizen fluent in English and French, Jerome brought an energetic, empathic approach to systems development — listening deeply to clients' real-world challenges, then building practical, user-friendly solutions. From day one, all work has been freelance: sometimes solo, often in teams, and frequently leading diverse groups across locations to solve problems with information technology. The early years (1995–2016, as President of Simple Interface Inc.) were defined by hands-on projects that tackled emerging digital needs: Integrating specialized ERP platforms like Q360 (a unified solution for business management) into large-scale operations, including one of Canada's biggest players in the promotional products industry.
Building custom databases, CRM tools, sales automation, and commission tracking systems for clients ranging from Proshred (managing fleets and high-volume mailings) to Sun Life, Challenger Motor Freight, Bernardin Canada, and Tennis Canada.
Evolving legacy systems (from DOS to Windows) and bridging tools like Goldmine with order fulfillment and web-based processes.
These experiences reinforced the founding belief: technology should serve people and processes — not complicate them. In 2016, Jerome relocated to British Columbia and evolved the practice into Simple Interface Connections — carrying forward the same commitment to clarity, adaptability, and client success.
